When words aren't enough...

I heart my family.
Truly.
My husband is amazing.
My children are amazing.
They are brights spots in my day and in my life.
I thank God for my family.
I LOVE them.
I want to do everything in my power to be the Proverbs 31 woman for them.

Proverbs 31:21-22 says:  "When it snows, she has no fear for her household; for all of them are clothed in scarlet. She makes coverings for her bed; she is clothed in fine linen and purple."

With that being said - I cannot and I repeat - CANNOT - make fine coverings for my bed when my sewing scissors are used to cut things that are not fabric.  I was down to one decent good pair of scissors that I had tried in vain to keep hidden from my husband children.  So, when I found my one remaining pair in the bag of horse grooming supplies, I had to resort to drastic measures.

When words aren't enough.....

When "Please don't use my sewing scissors" sounds like this when it comes out of my mouth:

And when my family looks at me like I am crazy and just told a dumb joke and then they roll their eyes and wait until I am not looking to cut their cardboard.  Or horse hair.  Or who knows what else.

So this morning, my husband posted this picture on facebook with a sad face:

I grinned an impish grin.  I laughed an evil laugh.  Then I jingled the key ring on my desk, shook my head, and thought "tsk, tsk, tsk."

Victory is MINE!

XOXOXO

P.S.  - I am working on a table topper for St. Patrick's Day.  And my scissors cut like "buttah!"
